The Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, Major General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed (Kaniif), officially closed a high-level training program today, conducted for officers from the Darawish forces and the Central Command of the Somali Police Force.

The training, which lasted for several days, was delivered by experts from the European Union Capacity Building Mission in Somalia (EUCAP Somalia). It focused on enhancing leadership skills, operational effectiveness, and the planning capabilities of the Somali Darawish forces.

The closing ceremony was also attended by senior officials from EUCAP Somalia, including:
* Kęstutis Lančinskas – Head of Mission, EUCAP Somalia.
* Jan Pirouz Poulsen – Head of the Police Unit, Mogadishu.

These officials expressed EUCAP Somalia’s continued commitment to supporting the development of the Somali Darawish and the Somali Police Force as a whole, highlighting the importance of ongoing cooperation between both sides.

The Somali Police Force continues its efforts to improve leadership skills and operational quality in order to serve the Somali people effectively and contribute to the overall security of the country.
